Hindu family’s food stall in Karachi gets loads of love. Pakistani blogger posts video

JJ News Desk

A Pakistani blogger shared his experience after he visited a food stall run by a Hindu family in Karachi. “Kavita Didi Ka Indian Khana” is the name of the food cart that is run by Kavita and her family members near the Cantonment railway station in Karachi.

In a post on Instagram, Karamat Khan shared a video in which he documented his experience of visiting Kavita’s stall. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food items are cooked by the family as her stall is quite popular in Pakistan.

Her specialties, though, are Pav Bhaji, Vada Pav and Dal Samosa. Several Karachi residents told Karamat, as seen in the video, that every food item sold by Kavita is absolutely delicious.

“Vada Pav is very famous in Mumbai. Now, residents of Karachi like it as well,” Kavita said in the video. Karamat, who had Vada Pav for the first time, appreciated the dish as well.

Karamat also said that food-lovers in Karachi enjoy the delicacies that are sold by the Hindu family and fondly call the young entrepreneur “Kavita didi”.

“Kavita didi” also went viral on Instagram after Karamat informed viewers about her food stall in Karachi.

“So uplifting,” a user said. Indian viewers were ecstatic about Pakistanis appreciating delicacies such as Vada Pav and Pav Bhaji. “Lots of love and respect from India,” a comment reads.

Several social media users enquired about the exact location of the food stall in the comments section and expressed their interest in visiting soon.

More power to you, Kavita!
