Groom’s baaraat arrives in car with chips packet decor, Internet has questions

JJ News Desk

Indian weddings are known for their extravaganza and uniqueness. And now, a video shared on Instagram by Satpal Yadav showing a groom making an extraordinary entry in a car filled with packets of potato chips has added to that amusing genre.

The video displays a crowd clearing the path for the white car adorned with packets of chips, but the exact location remains uncertain. As the car moves forward, several chains of chips consisting of different flavours and brands can be seen on the car.

The Internet has witnessed several quirky and innovative bridal entry ideas, such as brides arriving on boats shaped like lotuses or pet owners bringing their pets along for their big day. However, this particular instance highlights a distinctive approach taken by the groom during a baaraat (groom's procession).

The video has garnered over 1.7 million likes and several comments. People had a lot of questions about the out-of-the-box decoration. While some pointed out that the decoration would delight the kids present at the wedding, others wondered why someone would choose such an odd thing.
