Greater Noida: 28-yr-old Man Sexually Abuses Dog, Throws it From Balcony After Being Spotted

The incident took place last night around midnight when the accused was spotted with the dog on the balcony of his third-floor house in the Alpha 2 area by a neighbour, who sensed something odd and raised an alarm.

A 28-year-old man was arrested for sexually abusing a female dog and throwing her to the ground from his third-floor house in Greater Noida on Thursday, officials said. The dog sustained injuries and the accused has been arrested.

Quoting officials, a PTI report said the incident took place last night around midnight when the accused was spotted with the dog on the balcony of his third-floor house in the Alpha 2 area by a neighbour, who sensed something odd and raised an alarm.

On hearing the neighbour’s scream, the accused threw the female dog on the street from the balcony. Vinod Kumar Mishra, in-charge of the local Beta 2 police station said an FIR was lodged in the case.

The accused has been booked under Indian Penal Code Section 377 (carnal intercourse against the order of nature with any man, woman or animal), and charges have also been invoked under The Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960, police said.

The accused, who works in a private construction company, was apparently intoxicated at the time of the incident, police added.

Further legal proceedings in the case are underway.
