An 11-year-old boy from Florida was arrested after boasting about his large collection of weapons and a plan to execute a "kill list" at two different schools. Various airsoft rifles, pistols, fake ammunition, along with knives, swords, and other weapons were confiscated after the boy, identified as Carlo "Kingston" Dorelli, showed his classmates a video of his arsenal and made violent threats.

In a tweet, Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood wrote, "As promised. We just arrested a Creekside Middle School student who made threats to commit a school shooting at Creekside or Silver Sands Middle School. He had written a list of names and targets. He says it was all a joke."

As a result of his "joke," the sheriff hit Dorelli with a felony charge for making a written threat of a mass shooting and released a video showing officers escorting the boy into the jail, handcuffed at both wrists and ankles.

Chitwood further wrote in the thread that the 11-year-old has been charged with writing a threat of a mass shooting targeting Creekside Middle School or Silver Sands Middle School.

As reported by the New York Post, Dorelli's arrest occurred just days after the Sheriff pledged to "perp-walk" kids making prank threats, following a surge of false tips in the aftermath of the deadly shooting at Apalachee High School in Georgia, which resulted in four deaths.

In a tweet, Chitwood stated, "I can and will release the names and photos of juveniles who are committing these felonies, threatening our students, disrupting our schools, and consuming law enforcement resources."

Last week, Chitwood posted a video on X stating, "this is absolutely out of control, and it ends now. Parents do your job. Don't let Sherriff Chitwood raise your kids. Go talk to the families who have lost a loved one in a school shooting."

Earlier this month, a 14-year-old was arrested for a school shooting in Georgia, where two students and two teachers were killed. Media reports indicate that the suspect had been interviewed by the FBI last year for making online threats about a school shooting.

The shooting occurred at Apalachee High School in Winder, about an hour from Atlanta, leaving at least nine others injured.
