Elon Musk, Donald Trump groove to 'Stayin' Alive' in AI video with 80 million views

JJ News Desk

Donald Trump, Republican nominee for the November 5 US election, on Thursday (August 15) shared an AI-generated video featuring himself and Tesla boss Elon Musk grooving to the iconic Bee Gees track ‘Stayin' Alive’. Trump did not add any caption to his post on X (formerly Twitter).

The 36-second video shows both Musk and Trump dressed in crisp suits, performing enthusiastic dance steps in complete synchronicity.

The clip was first posted on X by Mike Lee, US Senator for Utah, while SpaceX boss Musk shared it on August 14 with the caption: "Haters will say this is AI".

While Musk's post crossed the 100 million views-mark, the one posted by the former US President was nearing 30 million views.

The video surfaced days after Elon Musk’s interview with the Republican presidential candidate which was livestreamed on X and delayed by about 40 minutes due to a technical glitch.

Elon Musk announced his endorsement for Donald Trump in July, days after the former US President survived an assassination bid during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania's Butler.

During their interview on August 13, Trump shared a blend of grievances, personal attacks, and bold claims, while Musk occasionally offered subtle nods of encouragement.

Ahead of the interview, Donald Trump returned to X, leaving his Truth Social behind for the first time in nearly a year.
