Dwarka Expressway Crash: NHAI Forms Experts’ Panel to Probe JCB Driver's Death

Following the tragic accident in the national capital where a concrete span of Dwarka Expressway's Delhi portion near NH8 in Mahipalpur fell on an JCB, crushing its driver to death on Wednesday, the National highway Authority of India (NHAI) has formed an experts' panel to investigate the crash.

Taking about the accident, Deputy Commissioner of Police Manoj C said a span between two pillars had gotten dislodged and fell. The deceased, Shakeel, was killed after the debris fell on him. Police have arrested site manager Rohit (35) and supervisor Injmam Hussain and a case of "death due to negligence" among other offences has been registered at Kapashera police station in Delhi.
