Dussehra 2023: Idol immersion done with Hydra machine in Delhi, artificial pond has been built near Aastha Kunj Park

Delhi govt. has made arrangements for Dussehra festival and has built 600 ghats for idol immersion. Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj has urged people to use the ghats to immerse the idols to prevent pollution of Yamuna river.

New Delhi: Dussehra festival is being celebrated with great pomp in the country. Along with this, people are also doing immersion to bid farewell to Goddess Durga. Meanwhile, the idols of Goddess Durga are being immersed in the artificial pond built by the Delhi Government near Astha Kunj Park. Its video is becoming increasingly viral on social media. In this video it can be seen that the idol of Mata Durga is being immersed through the Hydra machine.

Idol immersion has started on the last day of Durga Puja across Delhi. The idol of Mata Durga is being immersed at many places. Actually, Delhi government had already made preparations for this. About 600 ghats have been built in Delhi by the Delhi government for idol immersion.

Delhi Minister and AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj has made a big appeal to the people of Delhi regarding idol immersion. He has appealed to the people of Delhi to immerse the idol at the ghat only. While talking to the media, he said that immersing the idol in Yamuna will pollute the river. He further said that polluted water also hurts the religious sentiments of the people.

Along with this, Delhi Jal Board constructed many ghats to keep Yamuna river pollution free during idol immersion, so that people do not immerse idols in Yamuna and use the ghats. Along with this, the Delhi government has made special arrangements so that the immersion of the idol of Maa Durga can be done properly and as per the faith of the devotees.
