Dog walker repeatedly hits pet inside Gurugram society lift, video goes viral

The viral video showed a dog walker repeatedly hitting a pet golden retriever inside an elevator in Gurugram society. The dog owner did not file a police complaint but removed the dog walker from service.

A disturbing CCTV footage from a Gurugram society captured a dog walker repeatedly hitting a pet golden retriever inside an elevator. The incident happened on May 9 at the Orchid Gardens society in Sector 54.

The dog owner has not yet filed a police complaint but removed the dog walker from service after the video went viral.

The video, shared on X (formerly Twitter) by user Vidit Sharma, showed the dog walker inside an elevator with the pet golden retriever. He repeatedly hits the dog on the face and mouth with a litter scoop. He even uses his hands to hit the dog on its head and then gradually goes on to trapping the dog’s face with the scoop.

The video soon went viral, triggering outrage among social media users.

The exact reason as to why the dog walker was abusing the pet is not yet clear. However, he has been removed from service.
