A video of dead ants found inside a samosa, allegedly bought from a canteen of Delhi University's Dyal Singh College, has caught the attention of social media users. The video, which was shared on Instagram by 'du_india', earlier this month, has now gone viral with over 2 million views.

"Ants are found in the mines of Dyal Singh College. My friend and I bought these from the canteen at Dyal Singh College and found ants in the food. Post this so everyone should know and not buy food items from the canteen," the post read.

Since being shared online, the comments section of the post was filled with sarcastic comments, as one commented, "Protein-rich diet." Others also followed the same humour and said, "Protein diet," "Extra protein," "Extra crunch."

This is not the first time such incidents have been reported from a Delhi University college canteen. In the past, similar incidents have been reported from other colleges.

However, the recent incident has once again brought the focus on the quality of food served in college canteens and the need for stricter regulations and monitoring.
