Dawood Ibrahim's ancestral property reserved at Rs 15,440 auctioned for Rs 2 crore

The smallest plot among fugitive underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's ancestral properties was listed at a reserve price of Rs 15,440 and was sold for Rs 2 crore.

Dawood Ibrahim's ancestral plot, which was kept at a reserve price of Rs 15,440 was auctioned at a price of Rs 2 crore on Friday. This was one of the four ancestral properties of the fugitive underworld don which was auctioned by the Smugglers and Foreign Exchange Manipulators (Forfeiture of Property) Authority (SAFEMA).

The said properties are agricultural plots in Mumbke village in Maharashtra's Ratnagiri district, which is the ancestral village of Dawood Ibrahim Kaskar.

Another property worth Rs 1.56 lakh was sold for Rs 3.28 lakh. The price for the four properties was kept at Rs 19.2 lakh.
