Begusarai: Bihar often finds itself in the headlines for unexpected reasons, and this time, a peculiar image from Begusarai is grabbing everyone’s attention. During an unannounced inspection of the Sadar Hospital in Begusarai, Bihar’s Health Minister Mangal Pandey became the subject of public ridicule due to an unusual mishap.

On October 19, while inspecting the hospital, Pandey was mistakenly given a shoe cover to wear on his head instead of a surgical cap. This incident occurred when Pandey, who was in the district for other events, decided to make an impromptu visit to the hospital’s ICU. As he prepared to enter the ICU, hospital staff inadvertently placed a shoe cover, meant for feet, on the minister's head as part of the safety protocol.

Photos of this blunder have since gone viral on social media, where people are sharing the images and posting various humorous comments. The viral pictures show the health minister, along with District Magistrate Tushar Singla and other officials, inside the ICU. While some staff members were not wearing protective gear, Mangal Pandey and two doctors had head coverings, with Pandey’s noticeably being a shoe cover.

The incident has sparked widespread amusement and criticism online, with many questioning how such an oversight could happen during a ministerial visit.
