In Rajasthan's Kota, another student has died by suicide, marking the fourth case this year. Last year, in 2023, 29 students had ended their lives.

The student, who was preparing for the JEE alongside the 12th grade, hanged himself from the ceiling fan in his room.

When the family members did not receive the student's morning phone call, they contacted the warden, only to discover that the student had died by suicide.

The police arrived at the scene to find the student's body hanging from the ceiling fan.

Kota is a hub for engineering and medical entrance exam preparations in India, and every year, thousands of aspirants come to the city with the hope of clearing these competitive entrance exams.
