Andhra woman found murdered, husband claims ex-lover hired goons to kill her

A 35-year-old woman named was found brutally murdered inside her home in Andhra Pradesh’s Tenali on Wednesday night. Her husband has accused her ex-lover of being involved in the crime.

The victim, Ramisetti Alekya, lived with her husband, Bharat, who alleged that she was killed by goons sent by Annam Srinivas. Alekya had been in an extramarital relationship with Srinivas for seven years, claimed Bharat.

The illicit relationship had led to legal disputes between the couple, culminating in a court case whose specifics are not known at present.

Alekya's body was discovered on Wednesday night in the downstairs room of her building, lying naked. According to preliminary investigation, she was strangled.

Two Town police have cordoned off the scene and are conducting an investigation into the murder.
