Amitabh Bachchan buys plot in Ayodhya ahead of Ram Temple inauguration

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has reportedly bought plot in Ayodhya of Rs 14.5 crore, days ahead of the Ram Temple inauguration.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has bought plot in The Sarayu, a 7-star enclave in Ayodhya, which has been developed by the Mumbai-based The House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL), as per reports.

The publication quoted the actor as saying, "I am looking forward to embark on this journey with The House of Abhinandan Lodha for The Sarayu in Ayodhya, a city that holds a special place in my heart. The timeless spirituality and cultural richness of Ayodhya have forged an emotional connection that transcends geographical boundaries. This is a start of a heartfelt journey into the soul of Ayodhya, where tradition and modernity seamlessly co-exist, creating an emotional tapestry that resonates with me deeply. I am looking forward to building my home in the global spiritual capital.”

BIG B'S WORK FRONT

According to reports, The Sarayu will be launched on January 22, the same day Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be inaugurating the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya.

Meanwhile, on the work front, the Shehenshah of Bollywood was last seen in the 2023 release, Ganapath, alongside Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon. He now has Kalki 2898 AD and The Intern's Hindi remake in the pipeline, which will once again see him share screen space with Deepika Padukone. The two had worked together in the beloved, Piku.
