4 dead, 24 injured after bus falls on railway track in Rajasthan

At least four people died, and several others sustained injuries after a bus lost control and fell onto a railway track in Dausa in Rajasthan.

Four people died and at least 24 others were injured after a bus lost control and fell on a railway track in Rajasthan's Dausa district on Monday morning.

The bus was travelling from Haridwar to Udaipur, carrying more than 30 passengers.

"After the accident, 28 people were brought to the hospital, of which 4 have died. The doctors are treating the injured. SDM has been sent to the spot to investigate the incident," Additional District Magistrate in Dausa, Rajkumar Kaswa, said.

The incident took place near the Dausa collectorate. It fell on a railway track in Dausa from an overbridge at 2:15 am, the police officials said.
