2 terrorists killed in encounter, cop injured in Jammu-Kashmir's Baramulla

Two terrorists were killed, and a police officer was injured during an encounter in Baramulla in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday.

The encounter between terrorists and security forces broke out in the Sopore area of Baramulla.

A top police officer told media that two terrorists had been killed by security forces in Hadipora in Sopore, who are yet to be identified.

On Monday, a terrorist was killed in an encounter with security forces in Bandipora district of the Union Territory.

The gunfight broke out after security forces launched a cordon and search operation in the Aragam area of the district on Sunday night following information about the presence of terrorists there.

Officials told news agency PTI that the encounter broke out after terrorists opened fire on security personnel.
