Jailed former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday alleged that his wife, Bushra Bibi, was given food laced with "toilet cleaner". He also claimed that her health deteriorated as she was battling a stomach infection daily after consuming "poisoned food".
Imran Khan, who is also the chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) made the allegations during a hearing of a corruption case in Rawalpindi's Adiala jail, The Express Tribune reported.

During the hearing, the judge asked Imran Khan to avoid holding press conferences while in custody. In response, the former prime minister contended that he engages with journalists regularly as his statements are misquoted.
