Jaano Junction’s Chhavi Arora honoured by Indraprastha Horticulture Society for her philanthropic work towards Stray Animals

Currently, Chhavi feeds and takes care of over 50 homeless dogs in her locality.

Jaano Junction’s Chhavi Arora is honoured by Indraprastha Horticulture Society for her contribution and philanthropic work towards stray animals, during their Silver Jubilee Flower Show, held on 11th February in New Delhi.

On the occasion of celebration of their silver jubilee, Indraprastha Horticulture Society, New Delhi, organised a two-day grand Flower Show on 11th and 12th February, 2023. In the event, chief guests Justice Dr Sudhir Kumar Jain, Justice Dilip Gupta, guests of honour Shri Ram Niwas Goel (Hon’ble speaker Delhi Legislative Assembly), Shri Om Prakash Sharma (MLA - Member DDA) and Dr Monika Pant (MCD Councillor) among others graced the occasion with their presence and supported the cause.

Indraprastha Horticulture Society (IHS) was formed in 1988 by Ms. Rachna Jain with a view to bring garden lovers on a shared and common platform. The initiative started with twelve members and has now blossomed into a vibrant family of over two hundred members. With each passing year, an increasing number of nature lovers are recognizing the society’s cause, its vision and efforts in spreading care, love and concern for nature and the environment.

Jaano Junction is proud to have Chhavi Arora, Co-founder & Chief Creative Office at Jaano Junction and an animal-lover, to be honoured by the organisation who recognised her consistent and selfless work towards the stray animals, especially the stray dogs in Delhi. Currently, Chhavi feeds and takes care of over 50 homeless dogs in her locality. Her efforts have created ripples in the society with more people joining hands to promote the cause and bring a substantial change in the society.
