The grand wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, which saw several national and international celebrities in attendance, witnessed an amusing scene on Friday as a guest was seen handing his business card to actor Ranbir Kapoor.
It turns out, the man is Dr Vivek Gupta, a well-known heart surgeon from Delhi who seems to be a regular at social events. His LinkedIn profile identifies him as a senior interventional cardiologist at Apollo Hospitals. According to the hospital's online consultation portal, Dr Gupta is affiliated to the Apollo Hospitals' Indraprastha branch in Delhi and has an experience of over 25 years.
Dr Gupta was among the guests at the Anant-Radhika wedding on July 12. Dr Gupta shared some short videos on his YouTube channel, where he is seen interacting with Ranbir Kapoor. In the video, Dr Gupta is seen shaking hands with Ranbir Kapoor as they have a brief chat amid loud wedding celebrations in the background. He then hands out his business card to the actor, who obligingly accepts it.
Actor Alia Bhatt, Ranbir's wife, is also seen in the background.
The video soon went viral on social media, and people had hilarious reactions to it.

"He must be some investment advisor. Mauke pe chauka maar dia," another X user said.
A look at Dr Gupta's social media profiles indicates that he is a regular at social events, a function at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. His Facebook profile is filled with selfies that he has taken with prominent personalities at various events.
In fact, Dr Gupta seems to have had several encounters with Mukesh Ambani as he has shared pictures with the business tycoon multiple times in the past.
Dr Vivek Gupta's social media profiles also feature pictures of him with several politicians, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, among others.
He has also shared pictures with several other celebrities, such as Govinda, Kanika Kapoor, Kapil Dev, among others.
