Shah Rukh Khan is widely regarded as one of the most handsome actors, and it's not just fans who believe this—science supports it too. SRK has been ranked among the top 10 most handsome male actors based on a scientific study conducted by celebrity plastic surgeon Dr Julian De Silva.
This study evaluates facial symmetry and perfection using the 'Greek Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi.' De Silva employed advanced face-mapping software to assess how closely various stars' facial features correspond to the Golden Ratio, a formula traditionally used in art and design to measure aesthetic perfection.
The list of the top 10 most handsome actors of 2024 features only two stars returning from the 2023 rankings. Shah Rukh Khan stands out as the only Indian actor to make the list, further underscoring his global appeal. The superstar secured the 10th position, boasting an impressive facial symmetry score of 86.76 per cent.
Other actors on the list include Idris Elba, who took the ninth spot with a facial symmetry score of 87.94 per cent, Charles Melton in eighth place with a score of 88.46 per cent, followed by Nicholas Hoult in seventh place with 89.84 per cent.
Hollywood legend George Clooney narrowly missed the top five, ranking sixth with 89.9 per cent symmetry. Jack Lowden secured fifth place with a score of 90.33 per cent, while Robert Pattinson came in fourth with 92.15 per cent. Gladiator II actor Paul Mescal ranked third with a facial symmetry score of 92.38 per cent.
British actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson topped the list and achieved a remarkable 93.04 per cent facial symmetry.
