Shah Rukh Khan has been discharged from KD Hospital in Ahmedabad. The actor was admitted to the hospital on May 22 due to dehydration.

SRK will go to Ahmedabad airport from the hospital. He will leave for Mumbai by a charter plane.

Earlier today, the actor's manager Pooja Dadlani shared his health update. She wrote on Instagram: "To all of Mr Khan's fans and well wishers - he is doing well. Thank you for your love, prayers and concern (sic)", with folded hands emoji.

Shah Rukh Khan was in Ahmedabad on May 21 for the play-off match between KKR and SRH. He received a grand welcome at the ITC Narmada Hotel upon his late-night arrival with his team. However, his condition worsened in the morning, and he was taken to the hospital around 1 pm on May 22. Doctors had advised him to get adequate rest.

Later in the evening on the same day, Gauri Khan, KKR co-owners Jay Mehta-Juhi Chawla visited the hospital to check on him.

After meeting SRK at the hospital, Juhi told News18, "Shah Rukh was not feeling too well last night, but he is being attended to and was feeling much better this evening." She said that SRK will cheer for his IPL team KKR as they play in the finals this weekend. "God willing, he will soon be up and in the stands on the weekend, cheering the team, as we play the finals," she added.

Ahmedabad has been recording excessive heat waves since the past few days.
