Pop band Cigarettes After Sex announces January 2025 India tour dates

Cigarettes After Sex have announced the India leg of their X's World Tour, scheduled to start in January 2025. The band will perform in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru following the release of their new album 'X's'.

Cigarettes After Sex, the globally renowned band known for their ethereal dream pop, announced the India leg of their upcoming world tour. The world tour, titled X's World Tour, will commence following the launch of their new album, 'X’s'. The band is scheduled to perform in three cities during the India leg of the X’s World Tour.

The tour will commence in Delhi-NCR on January 24, followed by Mumbai on January 25, and will conclude in Bengaluru on January 28, 2025. General ticket sales for Cigarettes After Sex’s X’s World Tour - India will start on July 19 at 12 pm IST, exclusively on BookMyShow.

Cigarettes After Sex – comprising vocalist-guitarist Greg Gonzalez, bassist Randy Miller and drummer Jacob Tomsky have been captivating fans across the globe and have announced a three city India tour for the first time in their extensive world tour timeline. The X’s World Tour will feature beloved tracks such as ‘Apocalypse’, ‘Sweet’, and ‘K.’, as well as new hits from their latest album, including ‘Tejano Blue’ and ‘Holding you, Holding me’.

The latest album by Cigarettes After Sex, titled X’s, combines the band's signature dream pop style with influences from ‘90s pop and ‘70s dance music. Lead singer Greg Gonzalez captures the complex emotions of romantic experiences through vivid lyrical storytelling and mesmerising music.

Unlike their previous work, X’s focuses on a single four-year-long relationship, deviating from their usual approach of drawing inspiration from a mix of relationships.

Cigarettes After Sex has a strong hold in India, making it to the top streaming markets in the country. The band's performance at Lollapalooza India 2023 drew thousands of fans who passionately sang along to their captivating live set.

Before that the band made their debut in India in 2017 at NH7 Weekender Pune. They returned to Mumbai in 2019 at Mumbai’s Royal Opera House.
