Nita Ambani wore a jaw-dropping 100-carat yellow diamond necklace for her youngest son’s wedding last night. The diamond formed the centrepiece and the highlight of her five-strand necklace crafted out of brilliant solitaires.
A team of artisans from Mumbai-based jewellers Kantilal Chhotalal worked over 1,000 hours to create the necklace.
According to an Instagram post from Kantilal Chhotalal, portrait cut diamonds surrounded the 100 carat yellow diamond. The yellow diamond was paired with an 80-carat emerald-cut solitaire drop and set in five rows of brilliant solitaires to create the stunning necklace.
“Five rows of flawlessly matched round solitaires create a river of brilliance, amplifying the warmth of the unparalleled central motif,” the jewellers wrote on Instagram.

Her necklace was paired with yellow diamong Nizami earrings, solitaire hairpins and a yellow diamond maang tikka.
Influencer Julia Chafe, invited to the wedding by Orry, described the diamonds as “SUV sized” and pointed out the solitaires, each over five carats, that made up Nita Ambani's hairpins. “It seems like we are looking at some of her craziest diamonds ever,” she said in an Instagram video.
Anant Ambani married Radhika Merchant at Jio World Plaza in Mumbai last night. The high-profile wedding as gone down as one of the most expensive in history.
The pre-wedding festivities kicked off with a three-day bash in Jamnagar, where the Ambani family hosted international elite at their sprawling estate. The Jamnagar bash was attended by the likes of Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg and featured private concerts from Rihanna and Diljit Dosanjh.
Next came a luxury cruise across the Mediterranean where Katy Perry performed for the Ambani guests. Finally, in the week leading up to the wedding, the family flew Justin Bieber down to Mumbai to perform at the sangeet. The sangeet was preceded by a Mameru ceremony and followed by Haldi, Mehendi and a Shiv Shakti Pooja.
