Mr Bachchan Releases On OTT; Here’s Where You Can Watch Ravi Teja’s Action Drama Online

Mr Bachchan OTT Release: Ravi Teja's recent release Mr Bachchan is now available on OTT streaming platform. OTT giant and streaming platform Netflix have bought the OTT rights of the action entertainer for a substantial price.

Mr Bachchan OTT Release: Mr Bachchan is now available on OTT streaming platform. The Ravi Teja-starrer was released on August 15 for Independence Day but the film failed to live up to the expectations. And as anticipated, Mr Bachchan released on OTT (from September 12) silently without any word in four weeks from its theatrical release. The film is available in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam versions.

Netflix Is Streaming Mr Bachchan

Ravi Teja-starrer Mr Bachchan have created a lot of pre-release buzz. Perhaps it then OTT giant and streaming platform Netflix might have bought the OTT rights of the action entertainer for a substantial price. But since the film turned out to be a box office dud, everyone expected the film to arrive early on OTT. Fans of Ravi Teja who missed out on all the action in theaters can check out the film from the comfort of their home.

Post Release Drama

Mr. Bachchan is the Telugu adaptation of 2018 Hindi film and Ajay Devgn starrer Raid. While the Hindi version was a runaway hit, director Harish Shankar failed to recreate the magic at the box office in Telugu. Although Ravi Teja was lauded for his efforts and performance, he couldn’t save the film. His romantic track with the leading lady Bhagyashri Borse and the emotional depth in the script weren’t appreciated.

Post release, there was a lot of drama that unfolded. It was speculated that producer Vishwa Prasad blamed the director for the film’s failure. While the producer later clarified that his words were misinterpreted, Harish responded in affirmative. There were also reports that both Ravi Teja and Harish Shankar have returned some portion of their remuneration to compensate and mitigate the loss incurred by the producer and the buyers.
