Mirzapur The Film announced, Pankaj Tripathi returns as Kaleen bhaiya

Mirzapur, the popular series from Prime Video, is being adapted into a film. It will mark the return of fan-favourite Pankaj Tripathi as Kaleen Bhaiya, Ali Fazal as Guddu Pandit, and Divyenndu as Munna Tripathi.

Prime Video's superhit series, Mirzapur, will now release as a film in theatres. Starring Pankaj Tripathi as Kaleen Bhaiya, Ali Fazal as Guddu Pandit, Divyenndu as Munna Tripathi, along with Abhishek Banerjee, the film is slated for a 2026 release.

The film will expand into the world of Mirzapur, where the rowdy gangsters will reprise their respective characters in a larger-than-life theatrical spectacle.

About Mirzapur: The Film, producers Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar of Excel Entertainment said, “It is a landmark milestone for us to bring the quintessential Mirzapur experience to our audiences, yet again, but this time on the big screen. Over the course of three successful seasons, this acclaimed franchise has struck all the right chords with fans through its powerful storytelling and memorable characters – from the likes of Kaleen Bhaiya, Guddu Bhaiya, and Munna Bhaiya, to name a few."

Mirzapur: The Film is backed by Amazon MGM Studios and Excel Entertainment. The film is created by Puneet Krishna and will be directed by Gurmmeet Singh.
