Man who fired outside Salman Khan's house is wanted gangster: Sources

One of the two bike-borne men seen on CCTV firing shots outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan's Mumbai house is a wanted gangster from Haryana's Gurugram, according to sources.

One of the two shooters seen on CCTV footage firing shots outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan's house in Mumbai early on Sunday is a wanted gangster from Haryana's Gurugram, sources said. The gangster, Vishal Rahul, is a shooter of gangster Rohit Godara, who is associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

Vishal, who studied till Class 10, belongs to Gurugram and was involved in multiple killings and robberies in Haryana. He has over five criminal cases registered against him in Gurugram and Delhi.

The Gurugram-based gangster was recently involved in the murder of a bookie in Rohtak at the behest of Lawrence Bishnoi. The incident, which was captured on CCTV, showed Vishal firing a bullet. During the firing, the bookie's mother was also shot.

Following the firing outside Salman Khan's house, many teams of Delhi Police, Crime Branch and Special Cell have begun investigating. The Haryana Police is also investigating after the shooter's connection to the state emerged.

FIRING OUTSIDE SALMAN KHAN'S HOUSE

The incident came as Lawrence Bishnoi and wanted gangster Goldie Brar had announced several times to kill Salman Khan. According to sources, Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldie Brar had sent their shooters to Mumbai to kill the actor.

BIKE USED BY ACCUSED COULD BE STOLEN

Both the accused left the bike near Mount Mary Church and went to Bandra railway station by auto or any other public vehicle. From there, both took a local train and went towards Andheri, police sources said.
