Kim Kardashian to shoot Ambani wedding for reality show, receives star welcome in Mumbai

Kim Kardashian and her sister Khloe Kardashian landed in Mumbai on Thursday, July 11, to attend Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding on July 12. The reality TV star received a lavish reception upon her arrival at the Taj Mahal Hotel, Mumbai. Her car was also surrounded by paparazzi at the airport.

Kim shared a video of the bustling scene, captioning it with a warm "Hi India." She also posted moments from her welcome at the hotel, where she was greeted with a traditional garland and tikka.

Meanwhile, sources have exclusively told IndiaToday.in that Kim and Khloe will document the Ambani wedding for their Hulu reality show, 'The Kardashians'. The duo has brought along their entire glam team, including hairstylist Chris Appleton and filming producers, to capture their Mumbai journey from arrival, the Ambani wedding, to departure.

'The Kardashians' is currently in its fifth season and is expected to feature highlights from the Ambani wedding in its upcoming sixth season.

This marks both Kim and Khloe's first visit to India. Kim is set to dazzle in a Tarun Tahiliani lehenga for the wedding festivities.

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding spans three days, featuring events like 'Shubh Vivaah' on July 12, 'Shubh Aashirwad' on July 13, and a grand reception on July 14, followed by another reception on July 15.

The Ambani wedding will also see the attendance of other global celebrities, including John Cena, Mike Tyson, Jean-Claude Van Damme, and dignitaries like Jay Shetty, Boris Johnson, Tony Blair, John Kerry, and Stephen Harper.
