Jennifer Lopez has officially filed for divorce from Ben Affleck after two years of marriage. The couple, often referred to as "Bennifer," had rekindled their romance in 2021, leading to a highly publicized wedding in 2022. However, rumors of trouble began circulating earlier in 2024, especially after Lopez made a solo appearance at the Met Gala in May, which many fans found unusual.

The divorce filing, which took place on August 20, 2024, lists their separation date as April 26, 2024. Notably, Lopez filed the documents herself, without a lawyer, and there was no prenuptial agreement between them. She has requested that neither party receive spousal support.

Fans are now pointing fingers at Lopez's album, "This Is Me...Now," which was released earlier this year. Many believe that the deeply personal themes explored in the album, which revisits her past experiences and emotions, may have played a role in the couple's split. The album, intended as a reflection of her journey, appears to have highlighted unresolved issues within their relationship.

Although neither Lopez nor Affleck has publicly addressed the reasons behind the divorce, the timing of the album's release and their subsequent separation has led fans to speculate that the two are connected
