Global pop sensation Ed Sheeran is currently in India for his Mathematics Tour, scheduled to perform on March 16 at Mumbai's Mahalaxmi Race Course Grounds. This marks his third concert in the country, having previously performed in the city in 2015 and 2017. During his latest interview with Brut India, the singer shared his fondness for Indian music and musicians.

While talking to Brut India, Ed Sheeran said, “The first time I came over here (India), I went to a small party with a bunch of people. Those were big stars in Bollywood. And I think that kind of opened the door. There's a lot of Indian music that's fantastic. I'd say that's kind of what I've been listening to the most for the last like a year and a bit.”

He spoke about Indian artists and said, “I have listened to a lot of Diljit Dosanjh. I think he is great. I love Armaan, obviously having worked with him. And I think King has made some really exciting stuff.” Ed Sheeran wants to collaborate with King.

Ed also expressed his love for India and mentioned that he has never had a bad experience in India and loves the country for being ‘vibrant’.

On the professional front, Ed Sheeran is a Grammy award-winning English singer known for his songs like ‘Shape of You’, ‘Photograph’ and ‘Perfect’, ‘Thinking Out Loud’ and ‘Castle on the Hill’.
