Boney Kapoor confirms Janhvi's relationship with Shikhar Pahariya: 'I love him'

Boney Kapoor spoke about his daughter, Janhvi Kapoor's rumoured boyfriend, Shikhar Pahariya. During a recent interview, the producer-actor conveyed his admiration for him and said that he is 'blessed' to have him.

Producer Boney Kapoor spoke about his bond with his daughter, Janhvi Kapoor's rumoured boyfriend, Shikhar Pahariya. In an interview, he said that is 'blessed' to have Shikhar in their lives. Boney also seemingly confirmed Janhvi and Shikhar's relationship by expressing his admiration for him.

He continued, "He’ll be around. When any person is there for you in any capacity, whether it’s for me, whether it’s for Janhvi, whether it’s for Arjun, he is friendly to all. So I feel we’re blessed to have somebody like him in our set-up."

Meanwhile, Janhvi has not officially confirmed her relationship with Shikhar, but she has been seen openly going on lunch and dinner outings. The rumoured couple recently attended a party together, with Shikhar joining Janhvi at her sister Khushi Kapoor's birthday celebration.

Shikhar Pahariya is the grandson of politician and Maharashtra’s ex-Chief Minister Sushilkumar Shinde.

Work-wise, Boney Kapoor is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film, 'Maidaan' with Ajay Devgn. The film’s story is about an unknown hero, Syed Abdul Rahim, who brought pride to India through football. It is directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma and also features Priyamani, Gajraj Rao, Rudranil Ghosh in pivotal roles.

Produced by Zee Studios, Boney Kapoor, Arunava Joy Sengupta and Akash Chawla, the film will release in theatres on Eid, 2024.
