Aishwarya Rai wins Best Actress at SIIMA 2024, Aaradhya takes pics of mother's win

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya Bachchan wore blingy outfits at SIIMA 2024, held in Dubai. The actor won the Critics award for her performance as Nandini in Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya Bachchan turned up in blingy outfits at South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) 2024, which was held in Dubai on September 15. She won the Best Actress in a Leading Role (Critics) for her performance in director Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2. As she went on-stage to receive the award, Aaradhya captured the moment on her phone.

Aishwarya and Aaradhya left for Dubai and received a warm welcome on September 15. Later that evening, the mom-daughter duo walked the red carpet. Aishwarya took selfies with her fans who gathered outside the venue.

Aishwarya won the Best Actress in a Leading Role for Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2. She received the award from director Kabir Khan.

What caught everyone's attention was when Aaradhya captured the moment on her phone. She looked beautiful in a black and silver ensemble.

Aishwarya Rai played two roles in Ponniyin Selvan 2 - as Nandini and Mandakini Devi. The film is based on the popular Tamil literary novel of the same name, written by Kalki Krishnamoorthy.
